Building Critical Reading and Writing Skills -  for the Classroom and Beyond

Reading and writing skills are integral to success in an academic and professional environment, and at Knowledge Bump we are committed to developing these skills and demonstrating how they can apply to real world as well as theoretical problems. Many of our tutors have or are working on doctorate degrees in English Literature subfields, and we know what middle and high school classrooms are looking for and which writing techniques and genres translate to success in post-secondary education.

Our Approach

Using cutting edge pedagogical methodologies, we introduce students to serious analysis of literary (textual as well as media sources) objects, production of high caliber written and verbal assignments, and of digital media projects relevant to the current academic and professional worlds.

Individualized plans are always designed with each student in mind - that's why we meet with you and your child first, so that we can get a better understanding of what they need to feel more confident along their learning journey.

It's also why every first session is free - we're so confident in our services that we don't accept any payment for the first session, letting you decide whether or not you'd like to continue with our program!
